Unashamedly decadent the Crusta Anniversaire builds on the dry, crisp green apple notes of a fine champagne with layers of minerality, citrus and spice. Playing on the traditional Crusta and modernising it with Renais gin, Champagne and a luxurious gold encrusted sugar rim.

Ingredients / Measures

  • / 45ml Renais
  • / 20ml Lemon
  • / 20ml Orange Curacao
  • / 10ml Sugar Syrup
  • / 50ml Champagne
  • / 1 Dash Lemon Bitters
  • / Golden Caster Sugar & Edible Glitter for the Sugar Rim

Step 1

 

Garnish the glass with a gold encrusted sugar rim, by brushing the edge of the glass with either lemon juice or sugar syrup for a stronger bond. Then carefully spoon on the rim over a bowl.

 

Step 2

 

Shake all ingredients apart from the champagne with ice, strain into a coupette and top with champagne.
